Gossip Girl is Real Life

The thing I like best about this show is that it moves quickly.  Last week, Nate moves in, this week, him and Jenny hook up. As much as I like the show, these kids drink more than I do! I know high school kids drink, but enough already.

There was an article recently in the Wall Street Journal on the millenials and how they like everything handed to them and don’t expect to work. These types of articles irritate me, because Jenny’s situation happens alot – people get screwed at work. She didn’t expect to take over the company, in fact, her boss was stealing her ideas and treating her like crap. She needed dose of ego to put Eleanor in her place, otherwise, how long was Jenny going to get pooped on? (Guess who took her bitter pill this morning).

Actually, even though this show is supposed to be about teenagers, last night’s episode had some grown up issues going on. Jenny’s work issue is for real, and so was Blair’s total inability to admit her vulnerability.  So I guess last night, she and Chuck broke up before they really even got together.

Last night’s episode was directed by Vondie Curtiss Hall.

Oh! So that’s where all the Black people on GG.
