I Ain’t Sayin’ She’s a Golddigger…

Nip/Tuck creator Ryan Murphy brings us Glee, brings us several school misfits who come together to regain the school’s reputation as a Glee Club champion. These six students have resigned themselves to not being cool, but at least being happy — singing. I could say that every viewer sees themselves in either the students trying to to be themselves or the teachers with more grown-up problems. But the best part is the singing. To see these so called dorks singing Push It and Golddigger is priceless (and reminds us of the commercial appeal of hip-hop). The final performance of Rihanna’s Take a Bow at the end of the show, the writers marry plot and music. I don’t know if it gets any better.
