More Cocktails and Cuties

It’s time again for cocktails and cuties. I mean let’s face it, talent isn’t necessarily a requirement to be on TV anymore. You can get by on good looks. But even in TV land, there some people who stand out. I could actually do this every week. But then I’d be too wasted to write my posts.

Michael Ealy – As if Matt Czuchry wasn’t enough eye candy for this extremely well-written show, they go and add Micheal Ealy to the cast. You know he’s trouble, right? Nothing makes a man more attractive that a little bit of trouble.

A guy like this deserves a drink like an Amaretto coffee. Mix a half ounce of Amaretto in a cup of coffee. Top with whipped cream.

Ian Antony Dale – When is the last time you saw a hot Asian guy that didn’t play the nerd? I don’t know much about this guy, but I’m willing to find out.

For a man who is trying to save the world, only a Superman cocktail is appropriate. Combine 1 oz gin, 3/4 oz dry vermouth, 1/2 oz apricot brandy, 1 oz mandarin juice and 1 tsp grenadine syrup in a glassful of ice.

Billy Miller – yeah, yeah, yeah. I know that soap operas are full of beautiful people, where acting isn’t even a requirement (that is where Shemar Moore got his start). Billy Miller plays Billy Abbott on the Young and the Restless and plays a character that girls dream about. He’s passionate, rich, got a little bad boy in him, but extremely charismatic. Even if you don’t fall in love with the actor, the character is irresistible.

For the guy that is a little bit of everything, you need a drink that has a little bit of every thing. The Bonecrusher has 1/2 oz gin, 1/2 oz vodka, 1/2 oz triple sec, 1/2 oz rum, 1/4 oz grenadine syrup, 1/4 oz lime juice, 2 oz sweet and sour mix, and 1 oz Champagne. Some people like the champagne in a separate glass, but I prefer to have at least one hand free. Don’t drink this while Y&R is on, it is definitely an after-hours drink.

Honorable Mention – there is a plethora of beautiful women on the internet, but I have to give an honorable mention to Gugu Mbatha-Raw, because she’s just stunning. She’s one of the few women who can go toe-to-toe with co-star Boris Kodjoe in the good looks department.

  1. I have been lusting after Micheal Ealy for years! Watched the two seasons of Sleeper Cell from Showtime about a jillion times. And yes, I’m enjoying him immensely on The Good Wife. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that he’s playing everyone and something bad is going to happen.

  2. Oh yea! Michael Ealy… Thumbs up!
